Background

I am a skilled freelance editor with years of professional experience working with authors to develop, write, revise, and polish stories at all stages from outline to completed manuscript. I have been editing professionally since 2016.

I have honed my editing skills through various writing courses and workshops, rigorous editing courses through UCSD and EFA, studying style guides like Chicago Manual of Style, and writing my own stories and novels. Past courses include fiction and non-fiction editing, fiction writing, developmental editing, editing for children’s literature, and more.

When I’m not editing, I am homeschooling my two kids and doing art. I love reading, animals, all things science, and (you might have guessed) coffee!
